Women on the Shelf
Women on the Shelf is a fundraising initiative from Glasgow Women's Library where people can sponsor a section, shelf or book in the library, in the name of an influential women to them. Wooden blocks were designed with the name of the woman and a dedication to her etched onto them. These stand out enough to draw attention to the women, and the initiative but importantly not have to compete with the busyness of the books on the shelves. Blocks were also made for each of the sections of the library collection. More information about Women on the Shelf can be found here.
Design of a leaflet for Glasgow Women's Library's Friends initiative. The leaflet was to encourage visitors to the library to support GWL by becoming a Friend. In order to reflect the library and give people a better insight into what GWL does and what they would be supporting, as well as the benefits of becoming a Friend, the leaflet contains lots of images and some quotes from library users. You can find out more information about the GWL 'Be Our Friend' initiative by clicking here. Photography by Alice Gordon.

Identity design for a creative studio provider based in Glasgow. The studio directors wanted a new name and identity that would be strong and representative of the organisation allowing it to grow but also not to impose upon the creative businesses based in the studios. The identity was based on architectural drafting and typefaces and included signage, printed material, and design for MANY’s website and social media profiles. This project was done in collaboration with David Frew, Michael Gibb and Nicholas Davis.
